Actualizada la documentación de IMF.
En Microsoft han actualizado las notas de producto para el IMF e indican correcciones en la documentacion, asi como opciones de instalacion nuevas.

Mover Buzón en Exchange 2003. Paso a Paso por Carlos Dinapoli.
Saludos a todos; hoy os presentamos un tutorial realizado por un colaborador y amigo, Carlos Dinapoli.
Esto me alegra de especial manera, ya que es bueno que haya colaboración. Así aprendemos todos.
Sin más, comencemos con el tutorial.

Moviendo Mailbox desde el System Manager (Exchange 2003).
Una nueva característica es que ahora esta tarea puede ejecutarse desde el Exchange System Manager (ESM), en la versión anterior Exchange 2000 esta se debía ejecutar desde Active Directory Users and Computers (ADUC).
Desde el punto de vista administrativo es más fácil encontrar las mailbox en el ESM que en el ADUC.
Para mover Mailbox desde el ESM, seguir estos pasos:
• Navegar en First Storage Group > Mailbox Store > Mailboxes
• Botón derecho en la respectiva Mailbox(es) > elegir Exchange Tasks…
Se pueden elegir varias casillas a mover en el mismo momento usando Shift + Tecla de dirección seleccionado las que se necesitan mover.
Clic en Next:
Seleccionar Move Mailbox y clic en Next.
Ahora es tiempo de decidir a que Mailbox Store se va a mover la casilla.
Aquí viene una de las pantallas más interesantes, en donde se permitirá decidir que hacer con el movimiento en caso de encontrar mail corruptos. Si se deciden por Create a Failure Report el mailbox que contiene mails corruptos se mantendrá como está dejándolo intacto en el Store de origen, pero si se elige Skip corrupted items and create a failure report el mailbox será movido pero los ítems o mail corruptos serán borrados no solo en el Server destino sino también en el origen. La recomendación antes de mover es siempre tener un “buen backup” de la casilla.
También se puede especificar cuantos ítems o mails corruptos se saltearán antes de que el Wizard finalice.
Clic Next para la Próxima pantalla,
Ahora es tiempo de definir si las casillas serán movidas inmediatamente o se agendaran para un tiempo determinado.
Por ejemplo si se desea mover 1500 usuarios y hacerlo en horario “fuera de la oficina” se puede especificar la agenda para que lo haga en ese momento.
También se puede definir que si el procedimiento no termina a una determinada hora la cual se especifico en la agenda, lo termine hasta el Mailbox que llego.
Una nota importante a aclarar que con Exchange 2003 el Move Mailbox se puede realizar en varios hilos de ejecución en caso de hacer movimiento de múltiples mailbox a la vez.
Una vez confirmado comenzara con el move Mailbox de los usuarios especificando el tiempo de ejecución.

Systemdrive\Documents and Settings\profilename\My Documents\Exchange Task Wizard Logs

Mejoras en Move Mailbox 2003:
822892 - Move Mailbox Improvements in Exchange 2003
En el SP 1 de Exchange 2003 hay una nueva mejora para Move Mailbox que se llama Cross-Site Resource Moves. Esto significa que teniendo SP1 de Exchange 2003 ahora se podrán mover Maiilbox en Mixed Mode que están en diferentes Sites.
Hay varias cosas a tener en cuenta para que este feature funcione bien y son:
• ADC debería ser actualizado a SP1 de Exchange 2003
• Existe un hotfix que debería ser instalado en los Exchange 5.5
• Estar seguros de que el Directory Replicator y el SRS estén funcionando correctamente.
Existen detalles adicionales pero es esencial que estos tres puntos funcionen bien.
El movimiento de Cross- Site preserva la membresía de Grupos así como las direcciones de mail originales (esto es muuuuy bueno).
Hay otra herramienta que viene asociada a esto que se llama Outlook Profile Update, esta sirve para hacer actualización de perfiles de Outlook fácilmente después de hacer un movimiento Cross-Site. Es desde línea de comandos y puede ser hecha mediante script para hacerlo en varios clientes.

Nueva versión Web de los grupos de noticias para Exchange en Español.
Hoy visitando el Blog del grupo de Exchange. He visto la noticia de que han actualizado el aspecto visual para el acceso Web a los grupos de noticias.
Entre las mejoras, tenemos:
- Pulsa en el menu “All Threads“, de esta forma se puede filtrar la vista en diferentes opciones.
Si encuentras un mensaje que responde a una duda que teneís, pulsar en el botón “Yes“ en la opción de si ese mensaje ha sido de ayuda. De esta forma se mejoraran el ranking de los mensajes y sera más fácil el encontrar mensajes de ayuda para todos. También se puede seleccionar “threads with helpful posts“ en la vista, con lo que se verán los mensajes que han sido marcados como recomendados.
- Pulsa en "Notify me of replies" (Notificación de respuestas) en la vista previa para recibir un correo cuando alguien responda a ese mensaje especifico.
- Pulsa en el nombre de la persona que publicó el mensaje para ver su perfil (siempre que lo hayan rellenado).
- Pulsa en el botón de rellenar tu propio perfil (se requiere acceso a passport).

Entre las mejoras, tenemos:

Apertura de Como-Como. Comida mediterránea para llevar.
El pasado fin de semana, por fin abrió el local de comida rápida COMO-COMO.
Allí se degusta todo tipo de pescados y alimentos para freir (es lo que llamamos por aquí una Freiduria).
Los precios son muy asequibles y se encuentra al borde del paseo marítimo, lo que lo hace ideal para pasar un buen día en la playa sin preocuparte de tener que llevar o hacer comida.
Nosotros compramos varias raciones variadas y un par de ensaladas, y con ellos fuimos a casa a degustarlo.
La verdad es que es un sitio a tener en cuenta; para no tener que preocuparte de que haces de comer y todos los productos están muy apetecibles !.
Aquí os pongo algunas fotos para que lo vayaís conociendo.
